On July 17, 2022, Heritage along the Silk Road: Exhibition of Chinese Export Porcelain opened at the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum. The exhibition is hosted by Jingdezhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Press, Publication and Tourism, the National Alliance of Ceramics Museums, and the Ceramics Committee of the Chinese Museums Association, and presented by the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum, Fujian Museum, and the Maritime Silk Road Museum of Guangdong.

The exhibition consists of over 500 items (sets) of ancient Chinese export porcelain loaned from major museums and heritage institutions across the country, introducing the history and style of Chinese export porcelain over 1,000 years of five dynasties from the Tang to Qing dynasties. Following exhibitions on export porcelain from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the People's Republic of China period, the Jingdezhen China Ceramics Museum designed and presented this exhibition under the guidance of the Ceramics Committee of the Chinese Museums Association, aiming to retell the story of the export of Chinese porcelain via the Silk Roads from the Tang dynasty to the People's Republic of China era and demonstrate economic ties and cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world in ancient times.
