By showcasing more than 100 artworks, the exhibition aims to enhance Moroccans' understandings on the visual art history of their own country. MMVI Director Abdel Aziz Al Idrissi says that the exhibition reveals the creative path of Moroccan artists since 1916, which is a bright journey of the Moroccan art community.

Mr. Al Firdous, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports states in a press release that it is now an important moment for Morocco to resume cultural activities. The exhibition has conveyed an important message that culture is a renewable energy that can comfort the losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
