
On December 31, 2020, the exhibition Reflecting East and West – Things Made in China along Maritime Silk Road from 18th to 19th Century opened at the Liaoning Provincial Museum.
The exhibition collects 243 pieces/sets of diversified and well-made exhibits from domestic and foreign institutions, including the Centre for Applied Archaeology of University College London, Liaoning Provincial Museum, Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, China Maritime Museum, Liaoning Provincial Library and International Museum Exhibition Research Base. The exhibition is divided into four units: "China-West Interactions", " Made in China", "Different Interests and Common Prosperity" and "Beyond the Image". With intelligible narrative, the exhibition showcases marvelous Maritime Silk Road in the Qing Dynasty and the cultural exchanges between the East and the West, lauding the goods made in China.
The exhibition will last until April 5, 2021.
