Creations of the Wise: The Second National Exhibition of Arts and Crafts and the Second NMC Invitational Exhibition of Arts and Crafts opened at the National Museum of China (NMC) on August 24, 2021.
The exhibition is co-hosted by the China Artists Association (CAA) and NMC, and organized by the Arts and Crafts Art Committee of CAA and the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning. As the debut of joint work by two prestigious arts and crafts exhibition brands, this exhibition aims to present outstanding new artworks in the past two years while tracing the latest developmental trends and characteristics in the field.
This exhibition aspires to lead the audience to develop an in-depth understanding of the spirit of Chinese aesthetics for the general participation, sense of achievement and recognition. It will also further stimulate the creativity of artisans to create more outstanding pieces. The works will contribute to the expression of contemporary Chinese values, the spirit of Chinese culture, and the aesthetic pursuits of the Chinese people.
