On September 7, 2022, the 3rd season of the "Belt and Road"-themed new media documentary “Adventures on the New Silk Road” premiered online. The film tells the story of China and the countries along the route of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) building a new Silk Road with the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution and sharing benefits under the background of the global COVID-19 epidemic.

The special film “Exhibition of Archaeological Discoveries on the Silk Road” tells the story of how the exhibition of joint archaeological achievements of China and Uzbekistan overcame various difficulties during the early stage of the epidemic and was successfully held. The exhibits of this exhibition are from the archaeological discoveries by the Sino-Uzbekistan joint archaeological team in Uzbekistan. The exhibition, divided into two sections “Archaeological Discoveries of Kangju Culture” and “Archaeological Discoveries of Yuezhi Culture”, presented new important archaeological achievements in exploring the Yuezhi culture of the ancient Silk Road. The other film “International Touring Exhibition Relay” focuses on the successful practice of transnational exhibition of Masterpieces in Miniature:Treasures from the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Collection from the Victoria and Albert Museum, which truly records how cultural institutions involved in the touring exhibition overcame the huge difficulties of limited travel, logistics and transportation during the epidemic. It further highlights the important role of cultural heritage exhibitions in promoting cultural exchanges and enhancing people-to-people connections.
