On September 29, 2022, the exhibition titled Path of Fusion—Migration and Development Course of Tuoba Xianbei, organized by the Dunhuang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Broadcast, Television and Tourism, Datong Museum, Hulun Buir Nationality Museum, Inner Mongolia Museum and Luoyang Museum opened at Dunhuang Museum.
The exhibition consists of three units: Beginning of Tuoba Xianbei, Founding of Northern Wei Dynasty in Pingcheng, and Refulgence of Luoyang. Through displaying relics related to Tuoba Xianbei, the exhibition depicts civilization and cultural characteristics of Tuoba Xianbei at different stages, reflects era styles of social evolution and development of Tuoba Xianbei, highlights historical achievements of this great nation and deepens understanding of the centripetal force and the pluralistic unity of Chinese civilization.
The exhibition will last until November 15, 2022.
