The exhibition Torch of Science and Technology in Ancient China opened at the Wuhan Museum of Science and Technology on February 25, 2023. Featuring over 80 objects (sets), the exhibition showcases the remarkable technological achievements of the Chinese people throughout history.
The exhibition focuses on six major areas of inventions and discoveries: astronomy, compass and navigation, papermaking, printing, textiles and embroidery, and mechanical inventions . Through authentic relics, replicas, models, graphics, text and interactive experiences of traditional handicraft, the exhibition showcases the outstanding accomplishments of the Chinese people in the fields of science, technology and craftsmanship.
The exhibition is open until early May.
