
To celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, the Central State Museum of The Republic of Kazakhstan is hosting a Central Asian handicraft exhibition and fair from February 28 to March 2. The exhibition showcases a diverse range of traditional handicrafts created by artists and artisans from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
March marks the beginning of spring, signaling the return of light and life. The tulip, a traditional symbol of International Women's Day, is a key theme of this event.
The exhibition-fair will feature a wide range of exquisite handicrafts, including clothing, jewelry made from silver and natural gemstones, beadwork, fur and leather crafts, ceramics, textiles, handmade carpets, batik products, tapestries, paintings and various home decor.
