
The China Public Relations Association held the launching ceremony for “Generation Z 2023: The Future of the Silk Road” at the National Museum of China on April 6, 2023.
The event is co-organized by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China, China Daily, China Youth Daily, and the publicity departments of Shaanxi, Henan, Gansu, Weinan, Luoyang and other Chinese provincial and municipal governments.
The well-planned event aims to foster exchanges and communication among young people around the world. As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, the organizers have selected Dunhuang, Weinan, Luoyang and other key cities along the Silk Road with rich histories and diverse cultures, offering a program of travelling, literary and artistic creating and interactive experiences.
The event aims to extensively showcase the unique charms of Chinese painting, music and cuisine, demonstrate China’s achievements in ecological construction, and help young people from China and abroad appreciate the profoundness of China’s traditional culture and the vitality of its contemporary culture.
