The rhinoceros-shaped bronze zun, as a jewel in the crown of the NMC collection, possesses a high degree of historical, cultural, aesthetic, technological and contemporary value. This exhibition is concentrated on one piece of object, using digital technology to introduce how this vessel was excavated, its functions in ancient rituals, the casting techniques and the meanings behind its design.

The gallery gathers together a variety of technologies, such as 5G, high-definition 3D scanning, ultra high-definition display, artificial intelligence, infrared sensing, augmented reality, AOA positioning and environmental monitoring, so that visitors can enjoy the exhibition in a more interactive and engaging way. With multiple sensory experiences on offer - viewing, listening and touching - visitors can get a clear and vivid picture of the artifact, feeling its strong cultural and environmental connotations and basking in the timeless charm of Chinese cultural heritage.

The gallery also showcases how the data is acquired and applied and displays the digital operation platform which can realize intelligent management through a thorough perception and integration analysis of visitors, objects and the environment. Meanwhile, interactive equipment is provided, linking the digital gallery to the permanent display Ancient China, the place where the original rhino vessel zun is displayed so that visitors can feel the history and experience infinite possibilities of the museum brought by modern technologies with visions extending from single exhibition to more.
