Interactive Exhibition Hall Launched at Qinghai Provincial Museum

The interactive exhibition hall was officially launched at the Qinghai Provincial Museum with the digital exhibition Qinghai in the Belt and Road coming online in recent days.

The digital exhibition reviews the prehistoric civilization of Qinghai, the stories of this region during Han Dynasty, as well as the rise and fall of the Tuyuhun kingdom (313-663), showing the distinctive history and culture of Qinghai through 373 pieces (sets) of exquisite cultural relics. Taking the historical development of Qinghai as its main narrative line, this digital exhibition presents the unique civilization and sceneries in Qinghai. In the exhibition hall there are immersive 5G interactive area and a digital experience area named “Portal to the Past”. The 5G immersive area recreates the life of Qinghai ancestors in Hehuang Region with digital exhibits, including a pottery basin painted with dancing figures which depicts ancient Qinghai people dancing with joint hands, as well as the gold ware presenting cultural exchanges between the East and the West. In the digital experience area “Portal to the Past”, audiences can appreciate the history virtually. One of the highlights is the digitalized extant murals in the Qu Tan temple, telling the stories behind murals.
